Trail Edition

I've loved my outbound light. Amazing wide beam, awesome run time and recently had the best/ easiest warranty I've ever had in the cycling in industry. I've tried every night light brand over the years and Outbound 's quality and attention to detail out shine them all!

The Trail Edition is a great bar light with an extremely long battery life. I did a 2 hr ride with it on medium for the first 1.5 hr because that is all I needed it to be for me to see the trail at pitch black and the last 30 minutes on high just to see what I was missing and while it was substantially brighter than medium it was not necessary. I could have kept it at medium and been fine. When I was done I had only used 2 bars so I still had 60% left.
I team this light up with The Hangover that I bought at my LBS and as a pair they were fantastic. I see why they pair them up and I wish I would have saved some money and bought them as a set.
BTW I ran The Hangover at medium as well until the last 30 minutes as well.
Both my lights at medium were brighter than my buddy’s lights at high.
Back to the Trail Edition. It casts a great flood light that it’s about 20 feet wide and about 40 feet long (remember this is at medium). When I turned it to high I would say that it was still 20 feet wide but now it was subsequently longer forward.
I kept playing around and turning my Hangover off to see if I could just use the Trail Edition and I would have been fine
These guys lights are great and my ridding buddy is now jelly of mine and will be buying Outbound lights himself.

I bought this frail like light in them blown away with it. The light is perfect for mountain biking. I got it to extend my season now that it's getting dark early. Everything about this light is quality. They clearly thought it through. Its ease-of-use is unparalleled. I have no issues seeing while I'm riding

"Light carpet" did not make sense until I actually got to use this thing. Spectacular wide throw and such even lighting. The planning and design work that went into this was spot on. Apparently I bought one of the last ones. Hoping support won't be an issue in a couple of years, I plan to keep this thing as long as I can make it work.

This light is great! First night mnt bike ride in years and it lit up the trail giving me all the confidence I needed to make it a successful one. I can't wait to get back out there!

I have two rides on my OL Trail. It is well put together, good runtime. The light is a bit subtle in that it is not super bright and seems a bit underwhelming at the trail head. Once under way I noticed that I could see the trail in more detail than my previous light which is what I was after. Four stars due to needing to make provisions prevent the light head and battery pack from shifting when riding rough trails as well as the fact that it is not as bright as other available lights. It is great for me and I am glad that I made the purchase.
