I was getting my rear hydraulic hose stuck under the Evo light when I would turn left or right. After putting on the Evo cable manager, I angled it with the opening forwards, so the brake line wouldn’t get caught. Turning went back to normal, never noticed any catching. But $12 for this piece of plastic seems like a lot of money for a cheap component. When you consider the substantial cost of the Evo light, why doesn’t it come with it? For example all the helmet mounts with the proprietary 3M adhesives are 5$ each. Pedro’s plastic tire levers are 7$ a pair. 12$ for piece of plastic which probably should come with the light seems like the bike industry getting everything out of the consumer. I love the Evo and Hangover lights, I ride 2-3x weekly at night in the fall/winter. These lights are worth every penny, but why not give this quite helpful plastic accessory with the Evo / Hangover combo? 5 stars for function. 1 star for not including it with $375 worth of lighting. I’ll average it out to a 4 because Outdoor Lighting makes great products and are terrific to their customers.
5-star customer service. My original cable manager (2 years old?) broke at beginning of a ride. I emailed and sent a pic the next morning. Within hours I had a response and a new part on the way, NO CHARGE. You won’t find that often in this market. Customer for life.

Mechanically this does the job. Knocked off 1 star because the website shows the cable manager in black. I received a gray one. Stands out like a sore thumb. I used a sharpie to color it black. Blends in a lot better.
Doh, our vendor in Idaho accidentally made 1,000 of these in gray instead of black, and we thought it was still a brand color and looked alright, so rather than throw them away we shipped them, but forgot to update the images. I'm happy to send you a black one from the next batch when it comes in a couple weeks!
