So many of you wanted to be able to mount our lights underneath your bike computers that we created this nifty little adapter. All the guts of our Quick Release Handlebar Mount that comes with Detour and Evo, but to work with an Action Camera mount.
This works with our Detour light the best.
This can work upside down or right side up, there is no wrong way, the light will always be positioned correctly.
This mount slipped down during a rough descent. When I went to tighten it the nut turned in its recess, meaning I couldn't tighten it any more. The rest of the ride the light kept moving. When I got home I had to replace the nut with a different one.
Hmm, seems the mating mount had some issues too, and wasn't working well with our adapter, but seems from other reviews you're having multiple issues, so I'll reach out directly to get you taken care of.
This is useless when used under a bike computer. The action cam mount should come out the top so you can take advantage of the power button and the cut off line
I'm honestly a bit confused by this, the QR mount interface is reversible, so you can always insert the light right-side-up regardless of how the mount is positioned, so you can always keep Detour's cutoff beam in the right direction. If you're having issues getting this to work with your specific GPS mount setup, then we'd like to know to help get that addressed quickly for you! Just respond to the email this will generate with some more detail, we got you.
Simple little mount that is super easy to install and just works the way you need it to every time you use it
Great quality. Night riding puts a fun twist on those local rides and extends that post work ride time
