Would be nice if the trail evo just came with the cable manager. For a light this expensive it’s annoying when you mount it and find your brake cables obstruct the light and that a solution exists to solve this that only costs $12, which of course you have to pay to have shipped separately. Great lights but do yourself a favor and pick up the cable manager when you purchase the light to avoid the extra shipping charge.

Totally fair point! The reason we don't include it with every light is that the majority of bikes do not need it, and it does cost money to make them, so we didn't want to make every light more expensive while also sending a lot of plastic pieces to the dump for no reason, but when we update Evo's overall design we're going to change things up a bit and likely eliminate this as a pain point. In the meantime we'll just eat the second shipping charge for you, since if you had known you needed it you would have bought it at the same time.

The best lights, worth every penny

Super simple, solid, bright and attaches so nicely to the bikes without wires or annoying rattling (lots of rocks here in Utah and you don’t hear or notice any abnormal movement). The front headlight mounted is so bright I was unsure if I even needed the portal (helmet mounted light), but later decided it’s really nice to have for a more mobile and general lighting around you for looking in packs, at bike etc. it also can serve as a Great back up light if your headlight begins to die! The best lights honestly. Worth the price. Super cool company. Looking forward to using these a ton this winter and really comfortable with their warranty and support from damaging or crashing (lol). Go Bears!!! 🐻

These lights are amazing!

These lights are so bright I had mad confidence in the woods to charge almost full speed at night on my Levo while hitting 4-5ft tall wooden gap jumps. I haven’t done any huge jumps yet. It’s a wild adjustment to even be able to ride at night. Be careful when riding with mates not to look right at each other while chatting or you could blind them. Thanks guys! They rock

Improving on our insane Evo Downhill Package was no easy task. We kept the tried and tested Trail Evo on the handlebars, and added the new Portal helmet light for your lid.

The powerful combination of the two adds another level of dimension to your night ride, with an insane runtime to match.

Rock Solid Mounting

A good light isn’t so good if it’s bouncing up and down on all the time. That’s why we made a bolt-on clamp mount for Evo. It’s solidly locked to the bar and the beam won’t shake around like lights with rubber strap mounts do.

It's an easy one-handed quick-release process to pop Trail Evo off post-ride to charge.

Portal uses the tried-and-tested action camera mount to securely mount to your helmet just like cameras have for years.

Thermally Engineered

High power bike lights get hot, that is why we use our engineering prowess to keep them cool. Utilizing another industry first, we collect air through a scoop underneath the light, and pass it through the light, cooling all nine LED's on Trail Evo that are spread apart to balance the heat load.

USB-C pass-thru charging

We were one of the first to offer USB-C charging as standard, except we took it a step further by offering pass-through charging as well. This lets you plug in any USB power bank and charge the light while in use, in any mode, for ANY light. Game changer for 24 hour races and extra long night rides!
