Bought the Trail Evo and love it - it is fantastic. I made one critical stupid move … I should’ve taken advantage of the package pricing and added the Portal - now I have to buy it full price - dont be Bill, buy the package. These lights Rock !!!!!

Super premium.
Installed using the action cam adapter under a k-edge combo mount. Nice and solid. Light is great. The low is brighter than needed for the long slow climbs but it could be that I’m used to less light. I use a 18650 zebralight on the helmet to supplement in the twisties. Well designed product.

Rage against the dying of the light!
Light was super easy to set up and works great! Have only had it on 1-1.5 hour rides so far, but paired with a headlamp, this thing is a total weapon. Have already recommended OL to all my friends so they can bike in the dark with me.

Hands down the best in customer service
Shout out to the whole Outbound Team! They stand behind their products 100%. Ran into an issue with my Trail Evo that I purchased at the 24Hours of Old Pueblo 2023 as a package with the Hangover light. Long story short, dropped the Trail Evo light out of my truck during transport and had issues with the micro switch that progressively got worse. The team printed me a label for warranty work and even a potential fix in an email. Unfortunately they ran into issues with my light and ended up sending me a new Trail Evo!

Great products and service!
Just got a Hangover to replace what was advertised as a 2000 lumen wired/remote battery helmet light. It may not be ultimately as bright, but it is more than bright enough for my local trails and the beam pattern works much better overall. Lightweight, great illumination, and NO CORD to deal with! If that's not enough, shipping was super fast. Highly recommended!

The Bike Light Evolution:
When we launched the Trail Edition back in 2017 it was a game changer for bike lights.
A beam pattern specifically designed for trail riding with a wide evenly illuminated distribution. However it required an external battery pack, and we had lots of customers wanting to go wireless.

Advanced Optical Engineering
When we developed Evo’s beam pattern, we knew we could go wider and brighter, so we redefined our illumination goals, target candela points, beam angles, and then went to work simulating, testing, prototyping and developing the most seamless pattern we've built to date.
The extreme width is thanks to the finely tuned blended Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optics. Hundreds of simulations with Lucidshape software let us squish, squeeze, stretch and shape the light to hit that perfect balance of peak brightness, smooth falloff and insane peripheral coverage.

Rock Solid Mounting
A good light isn’t so good if it’s bouncing up and down on all the time. That’s why we made a bolt-on clamp mount for Evo. It’s solidly locked to the bar and the beam won’t shake around like lights with rubber strap mounts do.

Thermally Engineered
High power bike lights get hot, that is why we use our engineering prowess to keep them cool. Utilizing another industry first, we collect air through a scoop underneath the light, and pass it through the light, cooling all nine LED's that are spread apart to balance the heat load.
