I’ve only taken a couple of rides with the light so far, but I feel way safer in traffic with this than I did with my old one. I love that I was able to mount it under my Garmin mount while still keeping it right side up.

So grateful
My dad bikes as his only form of transportation and recently was hit by a deer on his way to work and dislocated his shoulder. After that, I was on the hunt for lighting that would make him safer on the road. We bought the detour light which is working well so far. My dad says that it is really bright and has a much wider spread, increasing his field of vision. We might end up adding a helmet light soon too! The lights are expensive, but the glowing reviews and warranty policy made me feel really good about the purchase. So grateful this company exists!

Love my Detour !
On a recommendation from a friend , I purchased the DETOUR light with double beam . I love it , I have been riding bikes to work 5 days a week and everywhere else for around 40 years and this is quite the light . I got it just in time for the dark days of winter , it even helps my see all the deer on the road here in the Berkeley California hills. Love the fast recharge of the battery too !
I feel safer in these ever distracted driving times on the road.

Rock Solid Mounting
A good light isn’t so good if it’s bouncing up and down on the bars all the time. That’s why we made a bolt-on clamp mount for Detour so it’s solidly locked to the bar, With a simple shim it adapts from 35mm to 31.8mm handlebars (25.4 and 22mm shims available) and the beam won’t shake around like lights with rubber strap mounts do.
