Evo Cable Manager

- Inventory on the way
Clever little part that helps keep brake cables and other items out of the way, preventing distracting shadows on the trail as you ride. Simple attachment to the bottom of the Trail Evo.
Please note, this is ONLY for Trail Evo.
I have several lights and accessories. Product quality is second to none and customer service is a 10 out of 10. Most in our group have them. I gave a friend an older light to convince him and he bought a setup for himself. Keep doing what you are doing Matt and we'll keep recommending your product. Happy Holidays.

Trail Evo/Portal combo. Was waiting to take these for a ride before reviewing...finally healed up from crashing with a different brand of light, and took these for a spin tonight on a mountain bike ride with a fast flowy descent that gives way to straightaways loaded with cobble stones. The lights worked great! I could see the trail in incredible detail.
I must admit, I was worried about how hard I fell for the marketing haha, but after riding with a different set-up, I can honestly say everything about these lights lives up to the hype. I was blown away by the width of the field of view, their brightness, and ease of use. My previous lights had a narrower beam with a cooler temperature light color. The slightly warmer color temp of the Evo/Portal lights made a noticeable difference in terms of reducing eye fatigue compared to the harsher cooler temp of the other lights. And, the field of view is way better with these.
As for ease of use, I found the buttons on these lights simple to operate with gloves on, and I like the fact that they don't have a lockout feature. It was silly of me, but my crash with the other light set-up happened as I was trying to turn my Niterider bar light on while descending...I had forgotten about the lockout feature...and sure enough, I went OTB as I was trying to turn it on. No such fuss with the Evo/Portal lights. As for the weight of the Portal, I was worried that it seemed a little heavy on my head at first, but when placed further back on my helmet in line with my neck, I hardly noticed it.
And, yeah, customer service has been great. They've been helping me with ideas to dial in the Evo for splitboarding at night,
Can't speak too much to battery life yet, but after climbing on low and descending on max, I had 3 of 4 indicator lights on after about 80 minutes in 55 degree weather. So, it seems I would have had plenty of juice left for a much longer ride. I also used the Portal on a chest mount in conjunction with a different helmet light for splitboard touring in mid 20-degree temps, with plenty of juice for descending 5 miles in the dark on max.
All in all, super stoked with these lights and the people who stand behind them! And, so stoked at how these lights have opened up new possibilities for getting out after dark this winter!
Been doing a lot of night rides with these in New Mexico. It has opened a whole new sport for me and my friends. We ride all of our usual trails without any consideration to how technical they are because these lights inspire that much confidence. I keep them on low for climbs and crank em up for the descents. This comfortably lets us ride for around 2hrs.
If you're considering night rides, invest in yourself, your safety and confidence and ride with Outbound.
Works great. Keeps the cables from blocking the light.
This little thing is genius. Not as genius as the light itself…but close!
My cable manager snapped and the good folks at outbound sent me a new one out rapidly. Great support makes for loyal customers. I hope to be ordering a second setup soon.
