Exactly what I need for my trails. These lights are not only super bright, but the coverage they layout is amazing! Game changer for me, as my friends had these lights and lit up the whole trail from the back of the group🤙! Thanks Tom for your amazing lights and fun marketing.

Evo & Portal - great combo

Robust design for both a handlebar and helmet light used for both off-road singletrack riding and winter dark hour commuting. Weight of the Portal on the helmet is a bit higher than some lights b/c of the integrated battery, but well worth it to avoid having a cord running to an external battery. Good choice of light modes to optimize battery life to actual lumen need. Lens on LEDs throws the light w/ a great balance of width and focus. Looking forward to seeing how these hold up long-term, but no concerns based on quality of the build.

Works great

So bright they freeze the deer on the trail, which adds new obstacles. True story. Seriously though nice lights that keep me going in the winter. Thanks!

Better than badass flashlight. (Way better!)

Years ago, I found a huge LED flashlight on the trail. I discovered that a ram ball mount fit around it, so I attached it to my handlebars and off I went. It was not great.
Then I attached a 30 W LED pod light somebody gave me to my helmet, running off a power bank in the backpack. The wire got caught on branches, was heavy, stuck up about 4” and was also not great.
Long story short, don’t be like me and waste time foolling around with crap lights. Just buy a bitchin set up from these guys and never regret it. Portal and Evo turn night into day.
What, are you gonna leave money for your kids? Screw that. Go for a ride.
Great lights, just go buy them.
Your welcome,

BEST. BIKE LIGHTS. EVER!

I’ve used a wide variety of bike lights for night riding and let me tell ya, these are by far the best and worth every penny! Just got done with the first ride with my dad after getting these, and now he wants them too! 😄 Lit up everything in my path… and beyond! I will 100% be buying more lights from this company in the future.

Outshines the competition

I am very impressed with the actual brightness of the light. Great spread, battery lasted a good amount of time and definitely feels well made. The mount for the Evo could be a tad longer, as I wish to be able to either put it up over the bar or extend it past the brake lines. The mounting for Portal is awesome, as it uses the standard GoPro mounts, so it can be attached in various positions. Only wish they did the same design for the Evo. Also, seems the Portal will have four LEDs when fully charged and plugged in and the Evo does not. Uncertain if the Evo is fully charged.

Couple things to help here, first we have an accessory called the Cable Manager specfically to help with this, so that you can use the stock mount and keep it all tighter to the stem instead of extending everything way out to clear the cables.

For the bar mount design, we actually were planning on using GoPro mount for everything, but found it just wasn't good enough for the bars for what we were trying to accomplish, keeping the GoPro-style quick-release made the mount enormous and it didn't hold as well in rough terrain, so we made our own that was way faster to install and remove the light with one hand with a cam interface that ensures it never developed play and wouldn't wiggle over time.

As for the charging, all our lights operate the same way, giving you a 1-2-3-4-1-2-3-4 animation until they are fully charged, then they will show 4 bars all on constant to indicate full. If your Evo is still animating, then it's likely plugged into a super slow USB charger and just not finished yet. If it's not showing you anything, then the cable likely isn't fully seated in the housing and just needs to be pressed in more firmly to ensure it's charging. From 0 to full on Evo should take <4 hours on a 3-amp or QC-rated charger, but a 500mA output tiny charger can take up to 24 hours. If you're still having some confusion with is after a few charges, repsond to the email this generates and we'll get you squared away immediately. Thanks!

Another step forward in lighting.

Improving on our insane Evo Downhill Package was no easy task. We kept the tried and tested Trail Evo on the handlebars, and added the new Portal helmet light for your lid.

The powerful combination of the two adds another level of dimension to your night ride, with an insane runtime to match.

Ride even longer.
Explore even more.

The added runtime of Portal Downhill package means you'll barely have to think about your battery.

Freedom.

No wires, no zipties, no battery packs, no entanglement, no awkwardness. Free to ride just like you do in the daytime.

Bombproof Best Friend

The astonishing Trail Evo is the zenith of self-contained, wireless mountain bike lights. Soon to be your favorite part of your bike.

Enter the Portal

The powerful big brother to Hangover, more lumens, more runtime, more riding, more fun.

Rock Solid Mounting

A good light isn’t so good if it’s bouncing up and down on all the time. That’s why we made a bolt-on clamp mount for Evo. It’s solidly locked to the bar and the beam won’t shake around like lights with rubber strap mounts do.

It's an easy one-handed quick-release process to pop Trail Evo off post-ride to charge.

Portal uses the tried-and-tested action camera mount to securely mount to your helmet just like cameras have for years.

CFD and thermodynamic simulation of the Trail Evo bike light

Thermally Engineered

High power bike lights get hot, that is why we use our engineering prowess to keep them cool. Utilizing another industry first, we collect air through a scoop underneath the light, and pass it through the light, cooling all nine LED's on Trail Evo that are spread apart to balance the heat load.

Trail Evo USB-C Recharging

USB-C pass-thru charging

We were one of the first to offer USB-C charging as standard, except we took it a step further by offering pass-through charging as well. This lets you plug in any USB power bank and charge the light while in use, in any mode, for ANY light. Game changer for 24 hour races and extra long night rides!
