We designed this plug not to be some proprietary plug to force you into our eco-system or anything. It was designed so that it could seal the light while you utilize pass-through-charging.
We don't want to make a killing on this, so this is literally what the cord costs us after manufacturing, shipping, warehousing, etc.
Extra long at 36" because no one likes being tethered to a charger, as well as giving you the option to have a battery pack at the bottom of your backpack or hip pack and charge lights like the Trail Evo or Hangover while in use.
I purchased the EVO combo unit during Black Friday with a nice discount. Got the light at the encouragement of my friend that was a professional mountain bike rider and said that Outbound is the best. Once using the light it was great with excellent brightness and breadth of light on the trail. One of the guys I ride with loved the light too and will be ordering one. I did have an initial issue with the charging cord but once I mentioned it to them they send a new cord (actually 2!) as a replacement and it works great! The mount for the light is small and conveniently centered on the handlebars. The soft touch for the lights works well and is firm making it feel very sturdy and good quality.
Bottom line is I love the light and will probably be getting a different light set for my road bike as well.

Plenty to light to see trails in the woods ! Light was not used full brightness and was still good at 2 hours !

Disgusting rip-off price. Had to buy 4 just to be sure I was ripping off Outbound Lighting good. Suckaaars!
Purchased the Evo and Hangover package. Evo is a game changer! Adaptive feature is pretty cool. Great coverage with a clean cut off on the top to keep the light out of drivers/bikers eyes. Even in the lox power setting, the light provides great coverage. The Hangover fills any gaps as you look ahead on the trail or check out your surroundings. Don’t think twice. Buy this light, you won’t regret it.
Lost my charging cord and was pleasantly surprised that a replacement was $5. The detour is the best headlight I've owned and Outbound customer service gets it right. I recommend both any chance I get.
