USB C-to-C cable for those that are ahead of the game and have USB-C chargers laying around.
We designed this plug not to be some proprietary plug to force you into our eco-system or anything. It was designed so that it could seal the light while you utilize pass-through-charging.
We don't want to make a killing on this, so this is literally what the cord costs us after manufacturing, shipping, warehousing, etc.
Extra long at 36" because no one likes being tethered to a charger, as well as giving you the option to have a battery pack at the bottom of your backpack or hip pack and charge lights like the Trail Evo or Hangover while in use.
Warning to all. The Outbound receiver port on the light will likely only accept Outbound USB cables. The plastic around the light is much smaller than a normal USB head so it makes it difficult to charge if you lose the Outbound proprietary cables. While the cable is of good quality the design is one star.
A question, from my experience, the order of the stars is reversed, 5 stars being to the right. You have earned a 5 star rating from me.
5 stars for all of your products. I just ordered a C to C charge cable for my 5 star Detour. The cable is much better than an ordinary C. It reaches in, securely connects and fits. I have reason to believe that this will be a long lasting cable.
Also eagerly awaiting the to be released tail light.
These cables are a tight fit in the Outbound lights but you won't have to worry about them disconnecting on rough roads
I am a very proud owner of a Trail Evo, Portal and Hangover. The Evo is indeed an even WALL O LIGHT as described and I switch back and forth on the helmet between the Portal and Hangover and it’s really hard to say which is better. The Portal puts another even beam on top of the portal and the Hangover has a super cool vertical spot. Run times are as stated and the build is TOP NOTCH including the mounts. If you need anything or have a question they always respond quickly I’m a service advisor at a luxury dealership and appreciate the outstanding service! If I need a new or another light I likely wont look anywhere else.
Good solid cable, maintains a weathertight seal at the light head.
