The new portal is great !!!

This is my first outbound light I waited for the new portal helmet light. Very pleased with it great beam pattern long run time it’s bright and along with my Gemini 3k on my bars night turns into day every one I know is running outbound lights I was impressed with them so I bought one and glad I did highly recommend. Great Headlighte!

I purchased this headlight to backup a rather dim handlebar mounted light that I have. Handle bar mounted light is more of a spot light and is 1200 lumens. The Portal is a great addition! it absolutely changed my night ride experience. I really like the wide beam pattern combined with the flood. I think it illuminates the trail corridor perfectly to look around corners, and highlight your peripheral views.

Worth the wait!

I have had the Hangover since the very first iteration of it and although I wanted to love it, the power and runtime left me wanting. Fast forward to now, I have since purchased the original downhill package and now the Portal. Let me just say that the Portal was worth the wait (weight) and rocks in combo with the EVO. I have sold several lights simply from people seeing mine in action! Tim and Matt rock, best customer service hands down. Any issues just message them and they are on it!!

Bright

Best lights on the market! Bright, good run time, no cords!

So good, so light, so bright.

Best helmet light I’ve ever used. I’ve got this and the trail light, i have to turn both down to level 2 or 3 when night riding on my local trails. They are so bright, and the lights are so good. Also love that there isn’t a cord connected to a separate battery supply.. can’t wait to try them this winter.

Rocket Cycles Enters A New Portal!

This light enters you into the next dimension! If you thought the hangover was great, this portal is even better! It’s a tick heavier on the helmet, but with a wider and stronger beam of light, as well as double the runtime, it’s well worth the extra little bit of weight! A customer of 3+ years! Thank you guys 🚀🚀

Bigger 21700 battery!

In order to hit the same runtime as Trail Evo, and have higher peak brightness than Hangover we shoved a 5,000 mAH genuine Samsung 50E 21700 battery cell and wrapped the light around it.

This results in 43% more capacity over our Hangover light, meaning far longer runtimes (up to 2.5 hours on adaptive, a 50% increase over Hangover).

Even brighter!

While more lumens isn't always the answer, we added in some more brightness and increased the beam pattern width over Hangover to provide even more punch down the trail.

New finely tuned optics with 30% larger TIR cones means higher optical efficiency and more peripheral light to help spot the spooky stuff.

Simple User Interface

Few people read instruction manuals, even fewer want to, so we keep our lights dead simple so that you don’t need an advanced degree to remember some complicated button presses get to the mode you want.

Portal’s soft-touch overmolded top shell has a single, large button right in the middle that’s easy to feel through a thick winter glove in the dark, so you don’t have to hunt blindly around on top of your head just to turn it on.
