I’ve had this light for a year now, and have used it around the house on the bike. When I first got it I took it out close to dusk on a trail, but there was still daylight. It’s been mounted to my bike for after the initial charge, and last night was the first night I needed it. All of my riding is in daytime hours, so I ended up riding 3 hours and an a little over an hour of that was in complete darkness. This thing was great!! I kept it on the low setting, was all I needed for the trails around here. I did stop to take a picture a little after 9pm.

Initial Impressions - Awesome
I previously bought the matching helmet light and decided to add the Trail Evo for an upcoming 50 mile mtb ride (Marji Gesick). Havent had a chance to fully run pack to zero but initial tests were impressive in terms of light output, beam pattern and the mounting system. Need to do a full shake out and run at various levels to see how long it lasts but just havent had the time. Between this and helmet light from Outbound can't believe I will be out of light. Need about 4-6 hours in dark to complete the challenge. Will submit update once event is over.

Excellent piece of engineering!
I use my Trail Evo with the Hangover helmet light on the trails at 5am and the Trail Evo by itself on my urban commuter bike at night as a headlight, and it's so awesome.
These lights are pretty expensive, but the customer service, product quality, longevity, and versatility make it worth it.
The ventilation channels are very cleverly placed so that the incoming air (when you're riding) is what cools the battery (which gets extremely hot, quick because it's so powerful).
Super powerful light! The USB C charging port is such a luxury feature too.
I also love the handlebar mount! It takes some practice to develop the technique of the quick release, but it's really nice. Everybody loves a good quick release mechanism ;)

I bought this light for both my mountain bike and road bike. I cycle on country roads, so the other light for road wasn't needed. This light is bright and the strobe is amazing for dusk riding! I like how easy it is to change between my bikes. I haven't had a chance to use it on trail l. But it will no doubt be awesome as I have used it on dark country roads. The light also fits easily under my garmin computer with the go pro mount that outbound sells. This light is well worth the money!

Rock Solid Mounting

Thermally Engineered
