Have multiple bikes? Want to swap Trail Evo or Detour between them often? Here ya go. (I can't believe we have to specify this, but this ONLY works with our lights, competitor lights will not be compatible.)
Fits 35mm and 31.8mm handlebars. (shims for 22.2mm and 25.4mm are available)
This can be mounted to the left or the right of the stem, so even if the mount is upside down, the light can be mounted right side up and function exactly as intended.
If you have a broken handlebar mount, please contact us before buying another, regardless of how you broke it! (We love hearing crash stories and will replace it even if you yeeted into a tree)

I love the ease of the quick release. The only problem I had was the only shim that came with the mount wasn’t enough for my handlebars. I had to take one from a Garmin mount that I have.
Hey George, the 31.8mm shim included with the light looks like it would work perfectly on your bars, but you have a Garmin mount competing for space. We didn't intend for the light to be mounted out by the grips because of the bar sweep, there isn't a side-to-side angle adjutment in the clamp, so the light would be pointing off-angle. We do have 22.2mm shims available, we just don't include them with every light because <1% of bikes end up needing them, so it would just make every light more expensive while sending a lot of little plastic pieces to the garbage, but happy to send you the right shim if this is how you'd prefer to end up mounting it, or to help you get the light setup in the center.
The quick release mount for my Trail Evo light had worn from years of chunky rides so my light was on the bouncy side. I contacted Outbound Lighting and after a couple quick exchanges and pictures, I was sent a new one. I’m very happy with this company and their products!

These mounts are sturdy and are one of the most secure ways to mount your lights to your bars. I buy extra mounts to have on all my bikes.
While the Quick Release Handlebar Mount certainly is a quality product, and well-engineered even if the design was borrowed from the photography world. The real game changer are the lights that has my wife riding at night again!
I've been running the Evo DH package which includes the Trail Evo bar light and Hangover helmet light. Bar light is almost good enough by itself as it's very bright and has a nice wide beam pattern. Hangover on the Helmet just makes the experience that much better and definiltey more light for faster riding. I recomend Outbound to anyone that asks, and some that don't. Great design, mounting, cable mangement (extra), and amazing light output. Hangove is a nice weight too, doesn't feel heavy on your head as long as you balance it front to back well. Love my Outbound lights!
