I use this for my 20 minute commute to/from work. Much better peripheral light than my last. I don't feel like I need a helmet light on some twisty, fast, downhill sections. Battery life is phenomenal (I run it on medium). Having a fixed mount that the light fits into with a little cam lever is so much better than having a rubber mount that you have to adjust every time you charge. I do feel as if I'm seen far better by cars with this beam pattern as they seem to slow or stop far sooner than with my last 350 lumen light. Can't wait to get out into the dessert some night on my MTB! Love that production is state-side!

Best light ever!
I was night riding with friends and I was using my ‘good light’ and my buddy shows up with his Trail Evo and it totally blew me out of my mind how good the light was. I immediately bought one for myself and it never disappoints.

Amazing light!
Solid construction and mount. Seems very well engineered. Have only run it in warmer nights so far but runtime is great. My legs give out before the light does. Pairs great with helmet light as well.

AMAZING lights and customer service
I got the lights and I was excited to try them out on my upcoming bike packing trip, but the mount did not clear my handlebar bag so I reached out to Customerservice and they custom 3-D printed a much taller light mount so the light would not interfere with any bike packing bags mounted up front so awesome. They have my business and I will be referring friends to this company. The mount is just as high quality and secure as the one that comes with it. Dont waste money on cheap anazon light mounts

Portal + Evo = shwing!
This combo is stupid bright, robust and sexy. I used the Portal all winter for my nighttime splitboarding laps. Outbound did an incredible job choosing a spectrum that is warm, very bright, and also easy on the eyes. I have pals running other (cheaper) lights that are equal in lumens but full blown hospital death lighting. Nailed it Outbound, I’m a believer. Buy this gear, you will be so stoked when you’re ripping night laps and your buddies can’t keep up.

When we launched the Trail Edition back in 2017 it was a game changer for bike lights.
A beam pattern specifically designed for trail riding with a wide evenly illuminated distribution. However it required an external battery pack, and we had lots of customers wanting to go wireless.

Advanced Optical Engineering
When we developed Evo’s beam pattern, we knew we could go wider and brighter, so we redefined our illumination goals, target candela points, beam angles, and then went to work simulating, testing, prototyping and developing the most seamless pattern we've built to date.
The extreme width is thanks to the finely tuned blended Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optics. Hundreds of simulations with Lucidshape software let us squish, squeeze, stretch and shape the light to hit that perfect balance of peak brightness, smooth falloff and insane peripheral coverage.

Rock Solid Mounting
A good light isn’t so good if it’s bouncing up and down on all the time. That’s why we made a bolt-on clamp mount for Evo. It’s solidly locked to the bar and the beam won’t shake around like lights with rubber strap mounts do.

Thermally Engineered
High power bike lights get hot, that is why we use our engineering prowess to keep them cool. Utilizing another industry first, we collect air through a scoop underneath the light, and pass it through the light, cooling all nine LED's that are spread apart to balance the heat load.
