I lost the clip in bracket on a ride and needed a replacement. I was contacted In less than an hour and one was shipped within a day. The customer service is second to none with this company. I ride almost exclusively at night and use the lights daily. When the day comes where I finally wear them out, I will be re ordering. One of the best investments I’ve had for biking. Plus I use the headlamp night fishing. Long story short, purchase these lights.
I bought a Smith Engage and a hangover light around the same time. I purchased this mount because the website says that the curved mount does not work with the engage. I can confirm that this is not true. The curved mount works perfectly fine with the engage, so you do not need to buy this if you have one…
Well crap, you’re 100% right, that helmet should not be on the list, I don’t know how we messed that up, I’m sorry! Removing it from the list and I’ll email you to get your last name so I can refund your order now. The standard Curved mount that comes with the light should work fine, but since you bought this one my guess is that you ran into some other mounting issue. If you can respond to the email this will generate and let me know, we’ll get you setup properly ASAP.
it fits my fox proframe well
The light itself deserves five stars but the standard mount wouldn’t work with my Lazer helmet. I emailed Outbound and they sent me a different adhesive mount for no charge! Unfortunately that didn’t work either so I had to buy a GoPro strap mount which has a tiny bit of play. I think the problem is I have road helmets and the adhesive mounts work better with MTB helmets.
All whining aside the light is amazing. The beam is bright and wide enough for roads or trail. Planning to add one of the handlebar lights next just for good measure!
