I’m really enjoying the new lights. I got the combo pack-handlebar and helmet mount.
I used to miss out on so many rides because it was getting dark.
Now, with Outbound Lighting, the darker it gets, the better I see.
Thank you for a great product!
I dig the lights. The clicks on the handlebar mount for changing the angle are sweet vs one w/o clicks that you move too far. Stick on GoPro mounting for the helmet is also nice, b/c my helmet has a weird vent structure.
I purchased the Evo Downhill package to step up my light game and make night riding that much more fun. I'd read many reviews of different products, and I kept getting pointed here. Shipping was fast, and after charging them up, I hit up my first night ride with them. The light was exactly where I needed it on both the bars and helmet, and even in the pitch black, I was only using the lower settings. My "pro" tip for the helmet is to look at a Garmin helmet strap and use that. The mount is interchangeable, and this saves one from mounting a sticker mount on just one helmet.
The EVOlution of the downhill:
Pushing your bike as hard as you do in the daytime requires some intense design requirements. A wide field of view, ability to see downrange and recognize objects quickly, and more importantly, an unbroken wall of light to keep your mind sharp and focused.
The Evo Downhill Package does just this, by pairing the extremely wide and powerful Trail Evo on the handlebars, and the lightweight and punchy Hangover on the helmet to give you an unwavering wall of light, even in the tightest of switchbacks. It's a lighting package that needs to be seen to believe!
